                     Every year the World Computer Literacy Day is observed on 2nd of Dec month to raise awareness of the enormous digital divide that exist and to try to increase access to information technology. In order to enhance the use of ICT in schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ashok Nagar is going to celebrate it with various competitions related to ICT as a mark of celebration from 30.11.2015 TO 05.12.2015.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

1. Paper Presentation

 

  • The paper should be delivered in the form of PPT.

  • Minimum 10 slides.

  • Individual participation

  • The softcopy of the paper should be mailed to kvasntechnovate15@gmail.com

 

 

​2. Logo Designing

​

  • Individual participation.

  • Design should be universal in theme, highlighting all the features of ICT the vidyalaya.

  • Color:  There are no limitations and any colors may be used. However, logo must look good in color (if any) and black and white.

  • Logos cannot contain copyrighted material. Logos must have been created and edited by the contestant(s).

 

 

3. Special Program in morning Assembly (class wise)

 

 

  • The theme should be based on ICT and Information Technology.

  • All the participants should be from the same class

  • Appropriate property, banners, charts can be used wherever required.

  • The duration should be of 5-7 min.

 

 

4. Web Designing

 

  • Individual participation.

  • The website must be a static website with at least 4 pages.

  • Any webpage editor may be used to create the web pages.

  • The time for designing the website will be 2 hours.

  • Image, Audio and video can be used in the website.

  • Aesthetics, design & presentation of the website is very important.

 

 

5. Short Film

 

  • Contestant should bring all the gadgets and softwares whichever required.

  • 5-7 contestants will be entertained in one group.

  • Videos must be in one of the following format (mpeg, mp4).

  • The videos must be of maximum 5 minutes.

  • Integrity:  Video cannot contain copyrighted material. Video must have been created and edited by the contestant(s). Video may not include images or licensed images that have been previously published.

 

 

6. Photography

 

  • Contestant should bring all the gadgets and softwares whichever required.

  • Individual participation

  • The images should have higher resolution

  • Any photo editing software can be used for making collage of the photograph

  • The final collage should be submitted in jpg format

 

 

7. Poster Making

 

  • Contestant should bring all the gadgets and softwares whichever required.

  • Individual participation

  • Any photo editing software can be used for making collage of the photos

  • The final poster should be submitted in jpg format

  • Poster should be design according to the topic given

  • The poster should be designed in A4 or A3

 

 

8. Flash

 

  • Contestant should bring all the gadgets and softwares whichever required.

  • Individual participation

  • A short animation film may be developed using any of the animation software

  • The time duration shall be not more than 20 minutes

  • The animated movie must be submitted as a SWF, FLV,FLA files

  • Own concept can be taken up for making animation movie

 

 

9. Debugging

 

  • The contest will test the programming skills of the participating members.

  • The participants are supposed to crack the bugs in C,C++ & Java program
