This is to inform that the nomination for ICT Award for the year 2016-17 is invited from all Kendriya Vidyalayas of Chennai Region. The main objectives of the ICT Award are as follows:

• To motivate and empower teachers with the Integration of ICT in teaching and learning process which will be rewarding.

• To keep abreast of the new techniques and methodology in the ICT field.

• To make the optimum use of the ICT equipments in the schools.

• To provide a rich environment for collaborative learning, multidisciplinary, problem solving approach and promotion of innovative thinking.

• To provide a continual support and training of teachers and staff on ICT to keep them abreast of new developments.

 

Nominations are invited from all teaching and non-teaching staff including contractual teachers.

All the staff members including contractual teachers and office staff shall take part in this programme.

Finalization of Selection Process:

 

1. At Vidyalaya Level:  on or before 10th February 2017.

 

1. At Regional Level:  Vidyalaya level selected entries are to be registered online in KV Ashoknagar website (www.kvashoknagar.com) on or before 11.00 am on 15.02.2017 and hard copies along with supporting documents should reach the co-ordinator ICT Projects & Principal, KV Ashoknagar latest by 20th Feb 2017. The Co-ordinator of ICT Projects will submit the selected projects to Regional Level Screening Committee latest by 27.02.2017.

 

Selection criteria:

The school level and Regional level selection will be based on the criteria given in Annexure-1

 

Documents to be submitted: (In the form of A4 size sheet- soft copy and hard copy).

 

The whole project report may be of 3000 to 3500 words excluding appendices. Supporting documents to be attached consists of the following.

• The Filled application form in the prescribed format.

• Brief Profile of self (Max. 200 words)

• Summary of the Project Report (Max 500 words).

• Documents /Reports to be enclosed are mentioned below:

  • Table of contents

  • Acknowledgement.

  • Preface.

  • Attestation by the Head of the Institution.

  • Genesis.

  • Rationale.

  • Implementation Strategies / Plans of ICT integration.

  • Supporting Document (Preferably) : Pre-test, Post-test, questionnaires, survey reports, Photographs, Field-visit report, Posters, Banners, URL of websites, Groups, Blog, references etc.

  • Details of ICT tools used.

  • List of open sources used in implementing this project.

  • Student Assignments related to ICT work (at least two samples)

  • Feedback by the students, parents and other members

  • Assessment Tools and Evaluation.

  • Results and conclusion.

  • Reflections.

 

                   All the Principals are requested to go through the power point presentation which will be sent by the Co-ordinator, ICT Project and conduct proper In-house training program for orienting the staff and also encourage for maximum entries in Vidyalaya level.
